On Monday, Aviva USA will begin testing a brand building campaign in select areas through the end of this year. Testing will occur in the states of Arizona, California, Florida, Texas, Iowa and Kansas. During this campaign, we will measure:
- Awareness of our brand
- The likelihood of customers recommending Aviva
- Sales impact in our test areas
Aviva to conduct telephone survey of policyholders – Aviva is conducting an annual telephone survey of our in-force life insurance and annuity customers. The survey will run during September and October. The survey is designed to understand how our policyholders feel about recommending Aviva to their friends and colleagues, and the various factors that might impact such recommendations.

2nd Quarter 2010 Results
Prudential’s assets under management amounted to $690 billion at June 30, 2010, compared to $580 billion a year earlier and $667 billion at December 31, 2009. Net income of the Financial Services Businesses attributable to Prudential increased 48%, to $798 million for the second quarter of 2010, compared to $538 million in the year-ago quarter.

Changes to Conditional Life Receipt/California Claims Handling Requirements/Tobacco Use Questionnaire Form
- West Coast Life Insurance Company has made modifications to all Conditional Life Receipts
- Agents licensed within the state of California are required to immediately forward notice of all claims to the insurer
- Effective Monday, August 30th, West Coast Life will begin a Tobacco Use Questionnaire form.
